Here’s Miles Rohan, the President and founder of the Corduroy Appreciation Club. This past 11/11/07 in Brooklyn, NY, Little Roy and I attended the auspicous meeting on that particular date since 11 is the number that closest resembles corduroy. Last weekend I attended an art’s festival at Smoke Farm outside Arlington, WA. In honor of the Pataphysical New Year I brought Little Roy and photographed him with several new friends.

As a school teacher I get this added benefit of school pictures. Over the years I have been bringing in Little Roy for his picture. For the last five years we have dressed up and gotten our portraits taken. This image will be on view at the Joe Bar Cafe in a group show. The show runs through Dec. 2006.

these fun corduroy cuties will be part of a show called “Plush You” at Schmancy toys coming up in Seattle this October. I call them “Friends of Little Roy,” since they are made from the wonderful fabric Corduroy!

Little Roy is participating in a show all the way in the Netherlands! It’s his first big trip away from home. Read more about the exhibit here: Me and My Character. The show opens July 12th and runs through August 27th, 2006. In his dutch lesson, Little Roy learned to say, “Ik houd van u vrienden!”
