So this is for my latest plush creation…stay tuned.
Some highlights from the last week of ’06:
We removed a tree that fell in the Big Seattle Storm. It fell from our yard into the neighbors. We bought and installed a new thermostat, I think it helps the house stay even warmer. The Blue Kitty had abscess surgery and now is known as “Scarface.” And last but not least, the Pink Gooby joined the family too!
Happy New Year!
I call them “Stripey Sams”, I plan to make 100 and install them on a wall. I made them during a summer doll making class with artist Marita Dingus. It was a great class. Stay tuned for an audio podcast interview with me and Craftzine.
these fun corduroy cuties will be part of a show called “Plush You” at Schmancy toys coming up in Seattle this October. I call them “Friends of Little Roy,” since they are made from the wonderful fabric Corduroy!
Little Roy is participating in a show all the way in the Netherlands! It’s his first big trip away from home. Read more about the exhibit here: Me and My Character. The show opens July 12th and runs through August 27th, 2006. In his dutch lesson, Little Roy learned to say, “Ik houd van u vrienden!”
This was a friend I found in the place we stayed while recently visiting Detroit, MI. honestly, how could this sweet corduroy wiener dog not be friends with Little Roy?
Feeling the cold winter move in…here’s Little Roy in his summer gear to bring you warm tidings.
Here are the newest additions to the Cubie family. These were shipped last saturday to Australia for a show called TINA. There are two cubies, two cubunnies, and a cube cat. CUBIE LOVES YOU!
