I call them “Stripey Sams”, I plan to make 100 and install them on a wall. I made them during a summer doll making class with artist Marita Dingus. It was a great class. Stay tuned for an audio podcast interview with me and Craftzine.

these fun corduroy cuties will be part of a show called “Plush You” at Schmancy toys coming up in Seattle this October. I call them “Friends of Little Roy,” since they are made from the wonderful fabric Corduroy!
Little Roy is participating in a show all the way in the Netherlands! It’s his first big trip away from home. Read more about the exhibit here: Me and My Character. The show opens July 12th and runs through August 27th, 2006. In his dutch lesson, Little Roy learned to say, “Ik houd van u vrienden!”

it was just an old truck, but it was a cool old truck. it helped many a friend move, it took several trips to the city dump and it stalled sometimes too. i recently donated the truck to charity, it needed to be passed along. at one point it was a seattle city light truck, i wonder where it is now…

trevor and i came with rubber hair. his is an old dodgeball from when i was “Super Spaghetti” for halloween one year. we were funny, each with our rubber hair, but you can’t see our skirts in the pic.
